What can we accomplish during a design consultation?

  • Pull together inspiration to develop the design direction for a space

  • Discuss floor plan layouts, including functional areas like kitchens and bathrooms

  • Pick interior/exterior paint colors and color schemes

  • Figure out how to place your existing furniture, and get suggestions on new furniture, light fixtures, and decor

  • Talk through window treatments, from shades to curtains

  • Get advice on renovations

How it works

  • Fill out the form on the website by clicking the ‘get started’ button below.

  • Together, we’ll figure out a time when we can visit your home to have the design consultation. Consultations are 2 hours long and the time can be used any way you like.

    A $150 deposit is due upon booking to reserve your consultation date. The remainder will be invoiced after the consultation.

  • Your consultation is your time to ask questions, review plans, and brainstorm with us. The floor is yours.

    By the end of the session, you’ll have all the input you need to conquer your project with confidence. We will follow up with detailed notes on what we covered, any additional recommendations, and a list of our favorite sources to help discover manufacturers and makers that fit your unique style.

 FAQs

  • We prefer to conduct consultations in person, ideally on site of the project you’re working on. This gives us the context we need to offer accurate, thoughtful input.

  • While we prefer to meet in person (we think it really makes a difference!), we can accommodate some sessions virtually. Get in touch to see if we can make it work!

  • We charge a flat rate of $700 for design consultations.

    Consultations are 2 hours long. A $150 deposit is due upon booking to reserve your consultation date. The remainder will be invoiced after the consultation.

  • While we might 3D model or sketch the space during a session to facilitate space planning, we do not offer formal floor plan drawings as part of the hourly design consultation.

  • We offer input on purchases, but hourly design consultations do not include specified selection or purchasing of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decor, so we cannot offer our trade discount.

  • While we can provide contact info for local tradespeople, you will have to reach out to them about your project independently.

  • While you’re welcome to use the time however you please, we are not able to offer refunds for any unused time. In our experience the 2 hours fly by and rarely does any time go unused.
